The villa's terrace offers a spectacular view of the city and the Bucegi Mountains. It is designed and build in a German renaissance style at the beginning of the twentieth century by the czech architect Karel Liman, a good friend of king Carol I for whom he designed the Pelisor Castel and the Honour Hall of the Peleş Castle, all having similar design features specific to the time. Although 100 years have passed since the villa was built, it keeps the charm and warm atmosphere of the old days. The Retezat Villa offers: - 8 rooms (with bathroom): 5 double rooms, one delux double room and 2 triple rooms. 2 of the double rooms and the triple rooms are provided with bathrobes, having their OWN individual bathroom next to the room. All rooms are equipped with cable TV (+ HBO), wireless Internet. - 2 apartments and a studio: The apartments include large bedroom with TV, living room with sofa bed and TV, large bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Access to the apartments is made with a card. The studio includes a large bedroom with a "king-size" bed and a TV, a hallway and a modern bathroom with shower with hydromassage. The studio and apartments are all new and luxurious. In summer they also have access to a very large terrace. |
