Bazna is a village in the north-west of Sibiu, Târnavelor Plateau. It belongs to the municipality Bazna.BaznaSibiu is located in the north, near the boundary with Alba and Mures County in a hilly region, average altitude of 320 m.Initial Bazna resort was set in another place, farther west on the Valley Morii, to Boian where the hearth was moved to present the fourteenth century. By the end of that century the settlement was built in the middle of a city fortified with palisades. Contributing begin setting up the resort since 1671, when some shepherds, sparking a fire to warm up, they discovered, without their consent, the deposit of natural gas in Bazna. This, as well as by later discovered mineral waters, the resort has attracted people's attention not only in Transylvania, but from other places
