Vestiges are part of the City Callatis. It covers 1,000 square meters area. They were discovered and researched architectural elements belonging to the Roman-Byzantine era. Discovered structures formed Callatis Fortress southern district.
The major findings are: Main Street - 6 m wide, paved with slabs, oriented east - west and fitted with a drain collector. Small thermal structure - which consists of two rooms that were made in opposite walls mixtum (limestone layers alternating with square bricks).
The archaeological site is located at Teilor, no. 6, Mangalia.
