Obanu Mare Nature Reserve is part of the municipality Mangalia, located in the north - west of the city.
It is a mixed reserve - and geomorphological Speleological with a total area 12 ha.
It presents as a depression with a diameter of 100-150 m and consists of limestones Sarmatian edge. Flora consists of ruderal species and species xerophyte.
