Banffy Palace is located in Unirii 30, Cluj-Napoca is an important eighteenth century baroque building in Cluj.
The palace has hosted important guests: Emperor of Austria and king of Hungary. Since 1951 the palace houses the National Art Museum, with its wealth of valuable paintings, graphics and decorative art.
The former residence of the governor of Transylvania by Gyorgy Banffy impresses stiulul late Baroque and Rococo. It is a palace facade with pilasters and richly decorated with statues of great artistic refinement CONI. Banffy Palace is considered to be the most representative building in Transylvania.
