This museum-hotel is located and offers accommodation in Ramnicu Valcea, in the center of the city, in Stream Park, the place where our national hymn was sung for the first time. Besides other important landmarks, such as Muzeul de arta Casa Simian, Rezervatia Naturala Piramidele din Valea Stanicioiului or Muzeul de istorie a judetului Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu is the epitome of quality, luxury and relaxation.

The hotel is the first of its kind in the country, the only museum-hotel that awaits for its guests with an impressive art collection (paintings, sculptures and art works, over 1000 pieces) that boasts some of the most famous names in Romania; the art works are exhibited in several galleries of the hotel and they are changed monthly, twice a year and once a year, according to the gallery specifics.

The hotel also offers its guests big, cozy rooms, each with facilities that ensure the most pleasant stay: shower bathrooms, air conditioning, cable TV, bathrobes, hair dryers, minibar, safe, terrace.
