Taia keys are located on the territory of the city Petrila Taia River Valley, Hunedoara county.
Key area was declared a nature reserve to protect the natural habitats of wild flora and fauna. It presents a spectacular landscape, due to the narrow valley with white and gray limestone slopes, high and steep, covered only partially thermophilic vegetation, many Mediterranean elements that add colorful bloom in the area.
