Hunyadi Castle is the oldest monument in the city Timisoara.Castelul Huniazilor between 1443-1447 was built by Prince Iancu de Hunedoara, the castle ruins of the fourteenth century, built during the reign of King Charles I of Anjou. Today the castle houses the Museum of Banat Timisoara Huniazilor, and hosts sections of history and natural sciences.
. Huniazilor Castle is located in Market Hunyadi, no. 1, the city of Timisoara. Contributed to restoring the castle by the Italian architect Paolo Santini Duccio. The main façade was rebuilt in the romantic style and neo-Gothic windows have decorations. Construction is finished with an attic floor exterior decorated with a canopy embattled. The tower has a rectangular shape, small windows and is decorated with battlements at the top so that the roof is hidden.
