Orthodox Church on the Hill, also called Holy Trinity Church on the Hill, was built between 1795-1796 with the support of Romanian merchants from Brasov. Heritage includes manuscripts and religious books, icons and religious objects, and prints of great value.

The first Mass was officiated in the church on Christmas Day 1796, by Elijah Fulea priest, arrived in Cluj in 1792. Mural painting of the interior is of recent date.
