Bastion was erected between 1421-1436 by craftsmen belonging weavers guild and is located in the southwest corner of the city,
Is the best preserved of all monuments and is considered by specialists as a unique construction of this kind in our country.
The specific name is given guild weavers who created it, in order to defend the southern part of city center.
Bastion walls have a thickness of 3 m and 1.5 m at the top
Also available for shooting holes and throwing molten pitch and the ground floor of openings for guns. Two observation towers were points which were tracked enemy maneuvers.
Almost demolished in the first half to middle of the eighteenth century, the current monument is rebuilt in 1750 and restored in 1910.
Today its status is as museum .Can get inside a collection of vintage weapons.
