Balea Lake area of great importance to tourism, is located in Southern Carpathians, in the Fagaras Mountains, Sibiu county.
Balea Lake is of glacial origin (formed in cirque) and lies at an altitude of 2034m, with a length of 360m, depth of 11.35 m and a total area of 46,508 mp.Lacul, together with an area of 100 ha
